Dominican University of California Credits
The Dominican University of California offers a course each summer for teachers to develop their own professional learning. Registration is now open. You can register for 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 credits. Each credit is equal to 25 hours of logged work. You count and log the work you have spent since spring break preparing for your students.
In this course, you determine your focus and work, by submitting 3 simple documents on the course templates provided: Plan of work, Log of hours, and Guided Reflection. To complete your course, present a summary of your work during an Exit Interview scheduled between May and August.
You can document any activity or experience which better prepares you for student learning. Examples include: preparing remote learning, attending seminars/workshops, learning technology, creating lessons/units, research, professional reading, collaboration, field trips, creating video/resources, travel which informs your teaching, etc. To get additional information on this course, go to:
